Team Jenichen Motorsport was founded in 1993 with its current managing director Dirk Jenichen as pilot. The team has had successful years in the Formula Euro series, the Austria Formula 3, the Formula 3 France and the German Formula 3. Dirk Jenichen was vice champion in the 1994 Formula Euro. However, the team was most successful in the Austria Formula 3: 4 times overall winner with Jörg Sandek (2 times), Luca Iannaccone and Diego Romanini. In 2005 the team won the German Formula 3 Trophy with pilot Kevin Fank. In 2003 the team competed in the FIA Central European Championship with pilot Diego Romanini and was the overall winner. In 2008 the team participated in the German Formula Trophy with Marcel Schlenker (DE) and in the Austria Formula 3 with Patrick Tiller (AT). That year Patrick Tiller became the Austria Formula 3 champion with Jenichen Motorsport as well as Austrian national champion. In 2009 Russian pilot Nikolay Martschenko will compete in the German Formula 3 Trophy for the team. |
